G. Donnabelle Bowser, 90 of North Buffalo Township, Kittanning, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning. She was born June 12, 1916, in Armstrong County to the late Charles Curtis and Mary Olive (Hawk) Craig and also was predeceased by her husband, Carroll W.S. Bowser, who died Jan. 8, 1986; a great-grandson, and siblings Irene Shirey, Hazel Bailey and Lester, Freeman, Paul, Steve, Cecil, Homer and Herman Craig. Donnabelle was a homemaker and a member of Center Hill Church of the Brethren, where she was a past treasurer for the Sunday school and a deacon emeritus and belonged to the Women's Fellowship. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, church services and quilting. She is survived by daughters Von Bowser (James) and Joyce Whitman, of Kittanning, and Carole (Paul) Nedrow, of Export; grandsons Brad (De), Craig (Karen) and Clark (Deb) Whiteman; granddaughters Deborah Bowser, Donna Johnson (Jim), Brenda Warcholak (Denny), Heather and Amy Nedrow and Carrie Hamley (Michael); 15 great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren, and six stepgreat-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at BAUER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, PA. Additional visitation will be from 1 until 2 p.m. services Sunday at Center Hill Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Wes Berkebile officiating.
