JAMES B. QUICK
James Benjamin Quick, 75, of Charlottesville, died Thursday in a local hospital.
He was born July 3, 1907, in Albemarle County, son of the late William Quick and Christiann Farish Quick.
Survived by his wife, Lizzie Mawyer Quick of Charlottesville; a son, James B. Quick Jr. of Charlottesville; two daughters Mrs Mildred Thomas of Valparaiso, Ind. and Mrs. Shirley Shifflett of Pawtucket, R.I.; three sisters, Lilly Farish of Charlottesville, Sally Quick of Batesville and Madie Mauck of Fredericksburg; six grandchildren.
Funeral will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Hill and Wood Chapel with interment in Monticellos Momory Gardens. Mr. William Sleasman will officiate.
Family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8 at the funeral home.
Hill and Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
