Jerry P. Garner, 64, of Royse City, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in Dallas.
He was born on January 5, 1946 to James and Hazel Garner in Dallas. Jerry was an Insurance Agent for many years. He was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Jerry proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Suzanne Garner of Royse City; Sons and Daughters-in-law, Steve Garner and Tracy of Allen, Robert Garner and Laine of Baton Rouge, LA; Daughter, Regina Garner of Royse City; Mother, Hazel Brannon and her husband, T.C. of Athens; Brother and Sister-in-law, James Garner and Paula of Kemp; Sister and Brother-in-law, Janet Williams and David of Lindale; Grandchildren, Kirstin, Andrew, and Baylee Adams, and Jonathon Garner; Great Grandchild, Aminah Lopez; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Father, James Robert Garner.
A visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Friday, August 27, 2010 at Lynch Funeral home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Herbert officiating.
Interment will follow at Lynch Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Larry, Bart, Kevin, Leslie, Chad, and Chris.
