Born in Arkansas, grew to manhood at Whitefield; deputy sheriff of Whitefield; moved to Stigler and later to McAlester, engaged in law enforcement at both places; served three terms as sheriff of Haskell County. Married Alice Forrest, (b. 9-29-1883 at Whitefield, daughter of Wilson and Annie (King) Forest). Alice died without issue on 11-24-1908 and E.E. (Gene) England married Alice's sister, Lucy Mae Forrest, (B 05-07-1892 at Whitefield). Gene and Lucy had seven children:

1 - Anna A. England, b. 08-24-1910/d. 02-27-1913

2 - Charlotte Lee England 1911-1992 (m. Herbert Allen, of McAlester 1908-2005).
