Adelia Elizabeth Higginbotham, b 07-30-1857 at Rome, Georgia, daughter of Andrew Jackson Higginbotham and Lucy (Herridge) Higginbotham of Rome, Pine Bluff and Whitefield. Samuel died 01-24-1924. Adelia died 11-11-1957, aged 100 years, 3 months, 12 days. They had eight children.
1- Mary Lucy England, b. 12-17-1879 at Kedron, Cleveland County, Arkansas (m. 01-10-1897 to Thomas Henry Williams b. 01-28-1868 of Flippin, Marion County, Arkansas, son of Fred and Rebecca Martha Jane (Lynch) Williams of Shelton Valley, Virginia and Flippin, Arkansas. They had six daughters.
2- Emma England, attended Whitefield School, (m. Wesley W. Holmes). They had four children. Wesley Holmes d. in 1904 and Emma married Ed Hensley. They had three children.
3- Eugene Edward "Gene" England, b. 03-09-1881 in Arkansas, (m. Alice Forrest, b. 09-29-1883 at Whitefield, dghtr. of Wilson and Annie (King) Forrest. Alice died without issue 11-24-1908. Gene married Alice's sister, Lucy Mae Forrest, b. 05-07-1892 at Whitefield. They had seven children.
4- Charles England, b. 09-16-1883 at Grenwood, Sebastian County, Arkansas. (m. Donjna Watkins, dghtr of Isom Watkins and Mrs. Ophelia (Watkins) Watkins of Skullyville and Kinta. They had four children.
5- Adeline Belle England m. George Everett Ely. She died 05-23-1969 without issue.
6- George William "Will" England, b. 05-06-1888, Sans Bois Town, San Bois County, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory-now Haskell County, Oklahoma. (m. Verna Belle Darr, b. 12-05-1888, Charleston, Franklin County, Arkansas, dghtr. of John Henry Darr and Mrs. Ellizabeth (Holt) Darr, of Charleston. They had four children.
7- Thomas Jefferson "Tom" England, b. 03-27-1890/at Whitefield, (m. Bernie Melissa McCrow b. 09-07-1893 at Hoyt, Sans Bois County, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory) dghtr. of John A. and Sarah Helen (Mitchell) McCraw of Hoyt. d. 05-09-1965 and is buried at San Juan, Hildago County, Texas. They had oe son.
8- Edward Raymond "Ray" England, b. 09-17-1896 at Whitefield (on 12-04-1921 m. Goldie Mae French , b. 08-04-1905 at Fulton, Obian County. Tennesee, dghtr. of Joe Edward French and Susie Elizabeth (Coleman) French of Fulton, Fulton County, Kentucky. They had five children.
