George W. Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Richard Hall one of twelve children, was born in Dade County Missouri, August 6, 1882 and passed away at the York General Hospital on January 30, 1963 at the age of 80 years, 5 months and 24 days.
He was married to Elzadia Elizabeth Hoover on August 26, 1900 at Everton Missouri. To this union was eight children, Mrs. Clarence Creech, Polk; Willard of Fairmont; Mrs. Paul Wolstenholm, Jerome, Idaho; Carl of Rising City; Mrs. Darrell Ronne, Lushton; and Kenneth of La Mesa, California. Two sons, Ellis and Gilbert preceded him in death.
Mr. and Mrs. Hall came to Nebraska in 1918 and lived on a farm near McCool Junction, Nebraska since 1921 except for the last two years, when Mr. Hall retired from farming and moved to his home in McCool.
He was converted when a young man and was a member of E.U.B. Church of McCool.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his beloved wife, Elzadia; his six children; 25 grand children; 35 great grand children; a brother W.C. Hall of York; one sister, Mrs. Morris Fullerton Nampa, Idaho; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A short service with Rev. Bachman, was held at the house especially for Mrs. Hall preceding the regular service as she was unable to be at the Church.
Funeral service were held in McCool Jct., Nebraska on February 2, 1963 with the Rev. Walter Bachman officiating. Burial in the Blue Valley Cemetery.
