Funeral services were held April 19 in the Bandon Chapel for 71-year-old Clara Bertha Harris, a 45 year member of this community, who died here April 17.
The Rev. Will Augsburger, a priest of St. John's Episcopal Church, officiated with internment in the IOOF Cemetery.
Mrs. Harris, whose home was on the Auction Road, was born August 1, 1903 in Minnesota.
Her late husband, Milton E. Harris, died in 1973.
Very active in civic and community affairs, she was a member of the Auxiliary of the VFW 3440, Bandon, the Military Order of Lady Bugs and the Ocean Rebekah Lodge of Bandon.
The family asks that friends who wish may make contributions to the Oregon Heart Association, W. 12th Ave. in Portland, Oregon, 97201.
