Dale Lockhart, 72, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 in Wellington.

Graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Addington, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Dale was born December 20, 1933 in Duke, Oklahoma to Cecil Lockhart and Ruby Dowing Lockhart. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Lockhart was a retired farm rancher and a member of the First United Methodist church.

He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, his parents and by two infant sons.

Dale is survived by his brother Don Lockhart of Moore, Oklahoma; and sister Carolyn Roberts of Brownwood.
