Survivors: son, Glynn Best of Georgia; daughters, Betty Headrick, Juanita Poling, Marie Stanley all of Maryville, Rosa Lee Council of Alabama; 17 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren; sisters, Sally Garner & Lula Smith both of Maryville.
Funeral service 8:00 pm Tuesday, September 26, 2000, West Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Rev. Roger Mathess & Rev. Steve Poplin officiating. The music will be provided by the Poplin Family Singers. Interment service 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2000 at Carpenters Campground United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, Smith Mortuary, Maryville.
