Fred Adams Dies Wednesday, Apr. 21 -

Fred A. Adams, son of John and Mary Adams was born on January 5, 1885 in Merrick County. He closed his eyes to this life on April 21, 1965 at the home of a daughter near Cushing. He had attained the age of 80 years, 3 months and 16 days.

Mr. Adams grew to manhood and received his education in Merrick County. He was united in marriage to Clara Mae Starkey on February 28, 1911 at St. Paul, Nebraska and to this union were born three children. The couple farmed near Palmer and in other parts of Nebraska until moving to Cushing. Mrs. Adams died February 19, 1959. Mr. Adams was a long time member of the Methodist church at Palmer.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. LaVonne Anderson and Mrs. Violet Cook, both of Cushing; a brother, Clarence also of Cushing; Nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his wife, parents, four sisters and three brothers.
