Joseph Hyrum Jones was a very honorable, good man, highly respected in the community. He was very family oriented.

Joseph Hyrum Jones and Emojean (Dudley) Jones had a great deal of property in Utah as sheep ranchers before the depression. (They were one of the few who had not one but two automobiles)

When the depression hit he was known to help people by supplying money, food and shelter for many friends and neighbors across the entire state of Utah. But like so many others during that time... the depression wiped them out too.

Joseph Hyrum Jones passed away September 4, 1942 in Price Utah. He was.loved and respected by everyone who knew him.
