Paul F. Abrahams was born on November 22, 1933 in Winterset, IA, the sone of Clyde C. and Gladys O'Neal Abrahams. On June 20, 1954, Paul was united in marriage to Beverly Clippert in Keokuk, IA.

Paul graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1952.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Paul was employed at Union Electric in Ft. Madison, IA and Kirksville, MO for 36 years, retired in 1993.

He loved to play golf and was a member of the Green Acres Golf Course in Donnellson, IA.

Paul F. Abrahams died Thurs., July 16, 2009 at his home in West Point, IA at the age of 75.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly of West Point, one son Kyle Abrahams (Patty Sullivan) of Higbee, MO, one daughter Melanie Schierbrock (John Derr) of West Point, two granddaughters, Amy Forsythe (Blake) of West Point and Sara Schierbrock (Joshua Young) of Burlington, IA and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, one sister, Leona and a brother in infancy.

Memorials may be made to the Lee County Hospice.
