Northampton, Feb 29 – Stricken with a heart attack as she walked in Gothic St. tonight, en route to an event in People's Institute, Mrs. Mary A. Braman of 34 Rust Ave. was pronounced dead on arrival at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
Dead On Arrival
Patrolman Henry Mulvaney, summoned to the scene in Gothic St. near People's Institute, called the city ambulance and took the woman to the hospital, but she was beyond medical aid.
Her husband, Curtis Braman, was summoned by hospital authorities and police, and the body was removed to the Charles R Dutton funeral home at 114 King St. funeral arrangements were not complete tonight.
