ATKINSON, RAY B., 66, of Tampa, died Saturday (Jan. 3, 1997) at home. He was born in Bristol, Va., and moved here in 1958 from Greeneville, Tenn. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, he was a purchasing manager at General Electric Company for 32 years, and was an Air Force veteran. He was a parishioner and elder emeritus of Westshore Christian Church, and taught the adult Sunday school class for more than 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Norma; three sons, Randal, Bradford and Richard, all of Tampa; a sister, Martha Phelps, Melbourne; and six grandchildren. Mark III Funeral Home, South Tampa Chapel, Tampa.
