Little Frank Hamilton West, infant son of J. F. and S. Lee West, was born February 11, 1900, and died December 4, 1900.

Dear little Hamilton is gone. God only let us keep him long enough for him to endear himself to us until it was like tearing out our very heart-strings. But we know our darling is at rest. He was too pure and good for us to keep here in this old world of sin and sorrow. Our God saw fit to transplant him in His own garden, and we feel that it is just another light in the window of Heaven for us; another treasure where sickness nor sorrow cannot come. Safe in the arms of the one Who said, "Suffer the little children and forbid them not to come unto me, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."

It will be only a little while until we shall see our dear one at the right hand of God, for we know he is there. God help us to so live that when the summons come for us to go we will be ready, as was dear little Hamilton. God help us to be submissive to Thy will, and comfort the parents and relatives of our dear one.
