Daughter of Adeline McManus and Alton K. Wilson. She married Isley Brady on 6 Mar 1898, and they had two known children before Isley's death in 1901. She then married James C. Brady about 1903 they had six known children before divorcing in the 1920's.

Her obituary in the Greensboro Record (NC), dated August 23, 1955, provides that she had lived in Greensboro the past 38 years. Surviving were two sons, Malcolm L. Brady of Greensboro and Dewey C. Brady of Wildwood, N.J.; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Isa (Lloyd C.) Amos, Mrs. John D. Raulston and Mrs. Ruby Chrismon of Greensboro, Mrs. Helen (Edward H.) Neese of Springfield, Va. and Mrs. J. Bernard McCoy of Pleasant Garden; one brother, Robert Wilson of Ramseur; two sisters, Mrs. T.L. Kiser of Asheboro and Mrs. M.D. Brady of Bennett; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
