He was born October 12, 1958 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of Joseph R. and Hazel Groves Bittengle Sr. of Shadyside, Ohio.
He was an Associate Professor of Radiologic Imaging and the Division Director of Radiologic Imaging Sciences at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UMAS) Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was a member and Sub Deacon of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, Little Rock and a former member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church Bellaire, Ohio.
He was a great dad to his sons, Joseph Nile Bittengle of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Adam Christopher Bittengle of Little Rock, Arkansas.
In addition to his sons, he is survived by his parents, Joe and Hazel Groves Bittengle residents of Shadyside, Ohio, a sister Deanne Bittengle of Shadyside, and his love, Jody Seabright and her son, Abbie Seabright of Wheeling, WV, Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
