Carl William Feldkamp, 85, of LaGrange died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday (March 13, 1990) in St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Feldkamp was born Nav. 17, 1904, near La Grange, a son of John Henry and Lena Marie "Mary" Rothfuss Feldkamp. He married Dorothy Ludwig June 28, 1931, in Quincy, Ill. She survives. Mr. Feldkamp was a retired farmer and a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in La Grange. Survivors also include a daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Janet) Settig at Parkville; six sons, Paul of Canton, Donald of Kearney, Mo., Leiws of Warrenton, and Wayne, Earl and Leon, all of La Grange; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Dora) Wolfmeyer and Miss Magdaline Feldkamp, both of La Grange; three brothers, Harry of Canton, William of Kearney, N.J. and Alfred of La Grange; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Mr. Feldkamp was preceded in death by an infant daughter; three sisters, Pauline, Frieda, and Marie Wingfield; and two brothers, Ernest and Christian. Services will be conducted at 2 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church in La Grange by the Rev. Jack Evans and the Rev. John Recks. Burial will be East Midway Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Davis Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
