Funeral services were held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Urania Methodist Church with the Rev. E. W. Sandel and the Rev. Ed O. Pickens officiating. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Cemetery near Pineville under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elise Hart Glidden of Urania; three daughters, Mrs. William Austin of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Howard K. Ray of Tullos and Mrs. Thomas Cornett of Urania; one brother, Frank Glidden of San Antonio; one sister, Mrs. Paul Humel of Austin; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
