Born Feb. 19, 1888, Garden City, Rich County, to Henry H. and Jenette Calde Cook. Married to Frederick Shimer Dec. 9, 1917, Salt Lake City. He died Nov. 23, 1923. Music Teacher, McCune School of Music and Art. Active member Richards Second LDS Ward and active in music in 17th LDS Ward. Survivors: brothers, sisters, Irwin C., Carey, Idah; Veraun C., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Rowena Tingey, Ogden; Mrs. Loveda Davis, Salt Lake City; several nieces, nephews. Funeral Wednesday noon, 36 E. 7th South, where friends call Tuesday 6-8 p.m., Wednesday prior to services. Burial Murray City Cemetery.
