She was born a daughter of the late John and Theresa (Zur) Lewko. A graduate of the former Our Lady of the Angels Academy she went on to receive her teaching degrees from Rivier College, Nashua, N.H., and Wesleyan University, Middletown. She entered the Felician Sisters Community in Enfield.
In addition to her sisters in the Felician community, she is survived by two sisters, Valerie Walendziak of Uncasville, and Lorraine Van Luvender of Brooklyn, N.Y.; along with several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Our Lady of the Angels Convent Chapel and Burial took place in St. Adalbert's Cemetery in Enfield.
