Services for Lois P. Taylor were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 31, 2000 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with the Rev. Wade Cummings officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pineville.
Taylor, 70 of Pineville, died Tuesday, August 29, 2000 in Rapides Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of Paradise Baptist Church where she served as organist. She was a 1948 graduate of Tioga High School and was co-owner of TWM Racing Products of Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Illey Avorn Pardue and Verda Ophelia Nash Pardue and one brother Iley D. Pardue.
Survivors include her husband, J. H. Taylor of Pineville; two sons, John Raymond Taylor and Kenneth A. Taylor, both of Pineville; two brothers, James A. Pardue of Pineville and Terry L. Pardue; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were: Sam Gorham, Randy Pardue, Scott Pardue, Burt Pardue, Tim Pardue and Jimmy Taylor.
