Funeral services for Charles J.. Krotz, 77, of Rushville were held Tuesday, Feb.

6 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Holly Church in Rushville with Father Phil Henderson officiating. Burial followed at St. Mary's Holly Cemetery.


A memorial has. been established for St. Mary's Holly Episcopal Church. Donations may be sent to the church, P.O. Box 71 , Rushville.


Mr. Krotz died Feb. 1, at the VA Hospital in Hot Springs, S.D. He was born May 22, 1918 at home in Sheridan County, Neb. to Anton and Anna (Vodicka) Krotz. He was affiliated with the VFW, DAV and 7 the American Legion.


His survivors, include his wife Barbara of- Rushville; sons Tom Krotz and wife Judy of Rushville, John Krotz and wife Julie of Rushville, Melvin Krotz and wife Paula of Torrington, Wyo., and Wayne Krotz and wife Rena of Rushville; daughters Kathleen Kocourek and husband Bill of Martin, S.D. and Rosalie Pierce and husband Don of Fountain, Colo.; brother John F. Krotz of Hay Springs; and sisters Stella Higgs of Sturgis, S.D. and RoseMary Kuskie of Hay Springs; and 12 grandchildren.


Chamberlain Mortuary of Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
