She was born in Madison County, August 7, 1890, where she lived most of her life except for the past 16 years in St. Louis.
She was the daughter of the late Rev. W.T. and Julia Ashlock Young.
She was married to the late Samuel H. Mouser on July 2, 1912, in Madison County. To this union, eight children were born.

Survivors include her sons; Clark, Alfred, Harrison, Floyd, Lloyd, Charley, Henry and her daughter Faye; seven daughters-in-law, one son-in-law; sixteen grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Tucker, Detroit; three half-brothers, Lester, Lloyd, and Justin Young and two half-sisters; Roxie White and Frieda Milne and her step-mother Belle Young.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 at the Najim Funeral Home. Rev. Orville Johnson was the minister and interment was in Marcus Memorial Park.
