Dorothy A. Hoffey WARREN - Dorothy A. (Smith) Hoffey, 86, of Winthrop Terrace, died Sunday, March 15, 2009 in Baystate Mary Lane Hospital. She was born on Jan 24, 1923. She leaves three sons, James J. Hoffey of Brookfield, Thomas M. Hoffey of Oakham and Albert G. Hoffey, Jr. of Georgia; two daughters, Lauretta Roy of Bourne and Maryanne Duplice of Ledyard, CT; sixteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Albert G. Hoffey and a daughter Nancy Piechota. She was born in Warren and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of St. Paul's Church in Warren. A Funeral Mass for Dorothy will be held Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 10:00 AM in St. Paul's Church in Warren. A calling hour will be held prior to the Mass from 8:30 to 9:30 AM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Warren.
