Rites Saturday
Funeral services for Andrew H. Thomason, Sr., 93, of Route 1, Five Points, who died at his residence Thursday at 12:55 p.m., will be held at Johnson-Brown Service Chapel at 2 o'clcok Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Thomason was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on March 6, 1881. He was a member of the Shawmut Church of the Nazarene and had lived in Five Points for the past 28 years. He passed away after a one week illenss.
Burial will be at the Shawmut Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Cummings in charge of the service. Johnson-Brown Service Funeral Home will be in charge of interment.
Surviors include four sons, F. F. Thomason of Thomaston, Ga., Andrew H. Thomason, Jr. of Route 1 Five Points, Marshall E. Thomason of Shawmut, and Jackson Thomason of Ashville, N. C. two daugthers, Mrs. Velma Brantley of Auburn and Mrs. Katherine Langley of Rout 1 Five Points, one sister Mrs. Ertle Lanham of Evansville, Inda., 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
