Mrs. McClenny died Sept. 9, 2006, in Gun Barrel City.
She was born May 23, 1924, in Smith County to the late Fred and Annie Gilbert Ashcraft. She lived in Fort Worth for 26 years, moving to Mabank one year ago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence R. McClenny, on Jan. 25, 2005.
Survivors include daughter, Nita Sellers, Mabank; son, Clarence Hughey McClenny, Tucson, Ariz.; brothers, Fred Ashcraft, Anchorage, Alaska, and Curtis Ashcraft, Tyler; sister, Oleta McGee, Wills Point; four grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
