ALONZO DENNIS

Services for Alonzo W. Dennis, 78 will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Harford Funeral Home in Hemet. He died Monday of lung disease at his residence in San Jacinto.
Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. until noon tomorrow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside National Cemetery.
Mr. Dennis, who was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, lived in California for 42 years, including 13 in San Jacinto. He was a pipe insulator for Long Beach Naval Shipyard for 28 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1944 until 1945. He was a member of the American Legion in Hemet.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; two sons, both of San Jacinto, William of Vacaville, Wayne of Leesburg, Florida and Ronald of Ballground, Georgia; one daughter, of Ballground; 28 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; brothers, three all of Lincoln, Nebraska; two sisters, both of Lincoln.
