Jerry Baker,
52, of Corbin, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Baptist Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Baker, and his son, Jerry Allen Baker, II.
Jerry was born to parents Betty and Harry Baker and lived his entire life in Corbin. He worked at Whayne Supply for 32 years becoming a foreman, was a dedicated member and trustee at Faith Baptist Church, and was a 2010 inductee to the Redhound Hall of Fame.
Survivors include his mother Betty Baker, and wife Vicki Baker of Corbin, and daughter Trista Baker of Florida; his special extended family: Jaime Baker Davenport and Candace and Jason Webb, all of Corbin; brothers Bruce (Darlene) Baker of Idaho and Eddie (Shelly) Baker of Corbin; grandchildren Kailee Michele Baker, J. D. Davenport, Jordan and Alyssa Whitman; brothers-in-law Phil (Vonna) Hutson and Ron (Kay) Hutson; sisters-in-law Linda (Kenneth) Duncan and Charlotte (R. K.) Young; and special friends Ermil and Colleen Reffitt.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 pm Tuesday at Faith Baptist Church, with the funeral to follow at 8 pm. Bro. Bennie Bush will officiate.
Burial will be at 10 am Wednesday at Pine Hill Cemetery and is open to the public.
