It is believed that George Miller Sr. married Catherine Weir about 1777 at Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

They settled at what was known as Turkey Hill, Marion Township in Lancaster County and eventually at Rudolph Run, Greene County.

They were buried at a now defunct location called "Falsehood Patent Land" on which was located the "Falsehood Patent Cemetery".
