Mrs. Hunter Funeral Rites Held Here Today -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Hunter, 70, who died Tuesday following a long illness, were held at 4:00 PM today from the First Methodist Church. The Rev. Don Youngblood, pastor, officiated. Burial was m the New Electra Cemetery under direction of the James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Paul Jones, Paul Rapp, Paul Weaver, Howard McDonald, Homer McDonald, and Johnny R. Brown. A resident of Wichita County for about 40 years, Mrs. Hunter had resided in Electra the past 25 years. She was born February 10, 1893, in Texas. Her husband, G. A. Hunter, is a retired oil operator and drilling contractor. Survivors include her husband; three sons, A. T. Hunter of Wichita Falls, L. Allen Hunter of Dallas, and Weldon E. Hunter of Kermit; two daughters, Mrs. Nell Carriker of Carlsbad, NM, and Mrs. Raymond Stanford of Electra, nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
