Charles Gordon "Rocky" DeFord, 82, of the 5900 block of Powhatan Ave., a retired bank vice president, died June 3, 1991, in a hospital.
Mr. DeFord, a Norfolk native, had retired from Virginia National Bank, now Sovran Bank, after 43 years. He was a member of Freemason Street Baptist Church and Corinthian Masonic Lodge 266, A.F. & A.M.
Survivors include his wife, Adele Barrett DeFord.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, by the Revs. William Lumpkin and Wayne T. Blythe. Burial will be private in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family in the funeral home after the service.
Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
