She was married to Robert Engle on December 2, 1846. At the time of this marriage Mr. Engle had 6 young children.
To them were born ten children making them a family of sixteen children, all but two of whom reached the age of maturity.
Mrs. Elizabeth Fleetwood Engle died on 10 May 2014 in Jonesville, Mich. One of her sons writes of her, "To say of my mother (God bless her!) that she was a good woman, does not begin to express the truth concerning her."
