Husband to Diana Schoenfelder. Father of Christina and Thomas Grosz. Grandfather to twins: Natalie E. and Natasha A. Rotella. Son to Dan & Mary Grosz, Brother to Tim, Brian and Sandra.

Richard died at the age of 31 when he was electrocuted in a work related accident. A 15 foot range pole he was using in a surveying operation came in contact with overhead electrical wires NW of Avon, SD.
