William Richmond Boruff, 40, of Sparta, passed away August 18, 2010.
Mr. Boruff was born May 15, 1970, in Sparta, to William and Barbara Boruff.
He graduated from White County High School, in 1988. He was the owner/operator of Boruff's Creekside Farm LLC. He was a very active member of the community, serving on numerous boards and volunteering for many athletic programs.
Mr. Boruff was preceded in death by his grandfather, Comer Carter.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy Dycus Boruff; children, Jenna Boruff and fiancé, Mark Herring, Chris Boruff, Whitney Randolph, River Boruff, Ocean Boruff; parents, Bill and Barbara Boruff; grandmother, Josephine Drouillard; aunt Donna Lee and husband Jeff; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Paulette Dycus; brother, Luke Dycus and wife Beth; niece, Hannah Dycus; and nephew, Eli Dycus
Funeral service will be 7 p.m., Aug. 21, 2010, at Bear Cove Baptist Church, with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery at 2 p.m., Aug. 22. Jerry Pullum will officiate, with Scott Sims assisting. The family will receive friends 3-7 .m., Aug. 21, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Bear Cove Baptist Church building fund.
Pallbearers will be Jason Powell, Tony Strode, Chad Tubbs, Rodney Boruff, James A. Simpson and Jose Oracion.
