HANFORD - Mrs. Olive D. Hanford, 88, Durand, IL, died 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1965 in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born July 8, 1876 in Laona Township, Winnebago County, daughter of Lois and Solon Dean. Lived entire life in the Durand area. Married to Alec Hanford in Brodhead, WI, Nov. 17, 1895. He died June 9, 1964. Member of First Methodist Church of Durand, Royal Neighbors of America and was an active worker in the Daughters of the King. Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Wallace, Afton, WI, and Mrs. Richard Adleman, Durand; a sister, Mrs. Willard Hammond, Durand; two brothers, Ade Dean, Rockford, and Artie Dean, National City, CA. Preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and four brothers. Ms. Hanford was born one of three triplets.

Services at 2 p.m. Friday in Chapin Funeral Home, Durand, with the Rev. Darrell English, pastor of First Methodist Church of Durand, officiating. Burial in Durand Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.
