Anita B. Adams, age 98, of 930 E. Clifford St., South Horizon Apartments in Plymouth died Friday evening,. Sept. ,19,; 1997, at Valley Manor Nursing Home in Plymouth, where she had been a patient the past two weeks.
She was born May 17, 1899, in the Town of Russell, a daughter of the late John J, and Rosa Conrad Brickbauer. She attended the Neith School in the Town of Russell and Elkhart Lake High School.
On May 18, 1922, she was married to Harvey Adams. As a domestic, she worked for St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Plymouth, Lakeside Farms for the Hayssen Family , and at Schwartz Hotel in Elkhart Lake.
Anita was a lifelong member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in the Town of Russell and a member of its Ladies Aid Society. She also had been a member of the Plymouth and Elkhart Lake Senior Citizens and the Elkhart Lake Historical Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Emogene Ortman of Milwaukee and Gloria Adams of Plymouth; two sons, Eugene (Janice) of Plymouth and Eldred (Elaine) of Milwaukee; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, LeRoy Schuricht of Sheboygan.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Irene Schuricht; two brothers, Elmer and Oswald Brickbauer; and three sisters, Lillian, Nelda Laack and Eva Henschel.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in the Town of Rus sell. The Rev. Leon Momaney, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be In the parish cemetery.
