Papers were signed by Frank only. They were filed and recorded on Sept. 25, 1871. ***NOTE*** just a mere 23 days after arriving in the USA. Property has a creek called Van Dorsen running thru the property and a larger one called Mussel Fork to the east.
They sold the property back to Louis Stuenkel, the same person they bought it from, on Feb. 11, 1880 for $600. and the deed was recorded on Feb. 13, 1880. **NOTE** loss $300 ??Why?? Johanna made a X for your signature and Frank signed her full name.
The property today lies South of Hwy 36, and is the western north side of a 2,491 Acre area called Mussel Fork Wildlife area owned by the Mo. Conservation Dept.
