VALLEY VIEW - Ross Taylor Fortenberry, a retired Federal Aviation Administration employee, died Wednesday at a Denton hospital. He was 73.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Slidell. Burial will be in Rosston Cemetery in Rosston.
Coker Funeral Home in Sanger is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Fortenberry was born in Slidell and served in World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars.
After retiring from the military, he worked at the FAA.
Survivors: Wife, Pearl Fortenberry of Valley View; son, Mack Fortenberry of Aurora, Colo.; two stepsons, Wilson Stinnett of Gainesville and Richard Stinnett of Highland Village; daughter, Rosalind Fortenberry of San Jose, Calif.; stepdaughter, Sharon Stinnett of Texarkana; sister, Juanita Brannon of Walters, Okla.; brother, Sloan Fortenberry of Valley View; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
