Funeral services for Arthur Van Siclen, well known in Whitestone, where he had a summer home for several years, were held at 10 o'clock this morning in St. Thomas's Episcopal Church, Fifth avenue and Fifty-third street, Manhattan. The Rev. Dr. Roelif Brooks, rector, officiated.
Mr. Van Siclen, a lawyer and descendant of one of the earliest settlers on Manhattan Island, died Thursday at his home, 230 East Forty-eighth street, Manhattan.
Mr. Van Siclen was fifty-eight. He was a son of George W. Van Siclen, one of the founders of the Holland Society. He retired from active business several years ago. His wife, Florence B. Van Siclen, and two sons, George W. and Edward H. Van Siclen, survive.
