Graveside service for Mabel Pauline Buchanan Albright, 92, of Jacksonville, was at 10 a.m. Friday at Mixon Cemetery with Rev. Joe Ballard officiating. Mrs. Albright died Aug. 9. She was born Jan.21, 1918, in Cherokee County.
Mrs. Albright was a member of the Mixon First Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Adrian Starnes Albright; mother, Angie Massey; father, Johnny Buchanan; and great-granddaughter, Juliette Morton.
Survivors include a son, Melvin Ray Hill of Buffalo; two daughters, Betty Ann Byrd of Brazoria and Ruby Nelson of Jacksonville; four brothers, Bob Massey, Morris Massey, Joe Massey, all of Mixon and Junior Massey of Jacksonville; two sisters, Louise Moore and Evelyn Hay, both of Mixon; several grandchildren; greatgrandchildren; great-greatgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers were Donald Byrd, Ronald Byrd, Buck Hill, Jade Halbert and Chris Halbert.
