MARY PEARL BECKMAN
Mrs. Mary Pearl Beckman, widow of George William Beckman, a resident of Crawford County Home for the past 10 years and formerly of Woodcock Borough, died Friday, Feb. 1, 1985, at the County Home. She was born at Woodcock Borough May 15, 1895, a daughter of Charles and Alta Green Humes. She married George William Beckman in 1913. He died June 21, 1970.
She was employed as a homemaker and, briefly, a practical nurse. She was a member of Gravel Run United Presbyterian Church, Woodcock, and a past member of Grave Run Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Bessie) Floyd, RD 1, Saegertown; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ima Ball, and a son, John C. Beckman.
Friends may call today from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 2:30 p.m., at H. William Van Matre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs. The Rev. William Riddle, pastor of Gravel Run United Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will be at Mitchell Cemetery, Cambridge Township.
