EAKLY- Services for Peter Terry Yearwood, Eakly, were held at 2 p.m. in the Assembly of God church here.
Yearwood, 75 a pioneer farmer and merchant of the Eakly community, died at his home Sunday. He was born in Forestburg, Texas, and moved to the Eakly community in 1907. He lived on the farm until 1942, when he established a business in Eakly.
His survivors include five sons: William of Weatherford, Marion of Hydro, and Raymond, Colony; Charles and Jesse of California; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Chambers and Mrs. Flossie Thiessen, both of Colony; and three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Gaskins, Carnegie, Maggie Walker, Altus, and Mrs. Ella Kuykendall, Alvoid, Tex.; 31 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
