She was born the daughter of George Riley & Eva Catherine (Aders) Huff. She married Albert Beard in August 1933. Connie took care of her aging parents who lived with her and her husband. She helped her husband on their farm and in later years after her husband passed away she was Postmistress at the Bristow, Indiana post office for many years. She was like a Grandma to her gr-neices and much loved.
