G.W. Ridgeway, Early Day Settler, Buried Wednesday
G.W. Ridgeway, for many years a resident of the community northwest of Alfalfa, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry Rinker at Apache. Funeral services were held at the Alfalfa Baptist church at 2 p.m. Wednesday and interment was made in the Alfalfa cemetery.
Mr. Ridgeway located near Mountain View in 1901 but in 1902 moved to the Alfalfa community where he lived for about 15 years, having spent the past few years at Apache. He is survived by two sons and three daughters besides many other relatives.
