He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army in the European Theater. He had been employed with the Foster Forbes Glass Company, Millville for 19 years before his retirement in 1988. Mr. Mosley was a member of Bethany Christian Church, Bridgeton, where he served as a trustee and member of the church choir. He was a member of the Colonial Riders Motorcycle Club and was an avid horseshoe player, gardener and carpenter. He was the husband of Marion Fisher Mosley, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in April of 1998.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd Mosley and Ralph Carter and three sisters, Florinda Carney, Dorothy Mosley and Mary Naomi Pierce. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ronald Mosley of Franklinville and Charles Mosley of Bridgeton; two sisters, Velma Loatman of Greenwich and Charlotte Coward of Fairton and four grandchildren, Michelle M. Mosley, Brooke Mosley, Michelle C. Colodny and Corey Davis.
Service will be 1 P.m. Tuesday at the Bethany Christian Church, 80 South Burlington Road, Bridgeton, where friends may call two hours prior to service; Burial will be in Gouldtown Memorial Park. Arrangements made by the Padgett Funeral Home, Bridgeton.
