Rev. Paul G. Hawbaker, age 91 a resident of the Quincy Retirement Home for the past 5 months and formerly of Hagerstown, Md., went to be with his Lord at 8:30 P.M. Sunday May 30, 2010 in the nursing home. Born August 6, 1918 in Lurgan Twp. PA., he was the son of the late Jacob and Susan (Gayman) Hawbaker. He and his wife, Laura J. (Johnston) Hawbaker were married August 30, 1940 in Hagerstown. She died on August 15, 1998. He was the last of his immediate family. Surviving family are two daughters, Delores Kuhn, Moneta, Virginia., Linda Healan, Windsor Locks, Connecticut, two sons, Ronald Hawbaker, Boonsboro, Md., Paul E. Hawbaker, State Line, Pa., twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great- grandchildren a nd two step-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. Burial will be in the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
