Wisdom Francis Wells Winsett, 77, Chapel House, died at 3:10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009 at Christian Health Center following a long illness.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Cornell Chapel on the campus of Christian Care Communities with Martha Rucker and J. Michael Ladd officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 P.m. until time for the service.
Hughart and Beard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, she was born November 15, 1931, the daughter of the late Arthur Linville Wells and Viola Johnson Wells.
She had worked for many years at Hopkinsville Clothing Co. and during a time when she was living in Indianapolis, Ind., she worked for RCA and Western Electric.
Her husband Daniel Winsett, died in 1997. An infant son, Melvin Neal Duke, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, one dauthter, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren (names and places where they live omitted for privacy of the family)
