W. J. Hammock Is Laid To
Rest At Shawmut Tuesday
Funeral services for W. J. Hammock, 76, who died Monday at the residence of his son, J. B. Hammock, in Shawmut, following an illness of three weeks, were held Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, from the Shawmut Baptist Curch with the Rev. Howard and the Rev. Treadaway officiating. Burial was in the Shawmut Cemetery with Johnson and Company in charge.
Surviving Mr. Hammock are one daughter, Mrs. C. T. Stephens, Riverview; three sons, Will Hammock, Hogansville, Ga., J. B. Hammock, Shawmut and Ples Hammock.
