Rudolph "Ruddy" Christianson, 78 of Townsend, died March 1, 1993 at home. Ruddy was born June 4, 1914 to the late Chris and Anna (Amundson) Christianson in Navarino, where he grew up. He lived in Waterford, Wisconsin for 7 years and then the family moved to Townsend. He worked for J.W. Peters construction of Burlington, Wisconsin for 36 years, retiring in 1976. He also farmed and loved gardening. He was a member of the Labors Union in Milwaukee. He married Wilma Ramsdell on Sept. 9, 1941. Survivors include his wife, Wilma, five daughters, Karen and Hecter Benavides of Waterford, Connie and Doug Matthews of Townsend, Judy and Bob Habeck of Townsend, Colleen and Clarence Richlen, and Carol and Murray Hayden of Wabeno. Three sons Robert and Bernice Christianson of Union Grove, David and Sue Christianson of Townsend, Peter and Peggy Christianson of Townsend, 24 grandcildren and 7 great-grandchildren.He was proceeded in death by one sister, Helen, and 2 brothers, Harris and Oscar. Visitation was held Tuedsay from 3 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home in Wabeno. Funeral service will be held 5 P.M. on Wednesday March 17, with Reverand Gerald Behling officiating. Burial in Forest Home Cemetery.
